Situated at the front of a calm fresh water tank , Kirindwita Buddhist temple is one of the most environmental friendly monasteries situated in approximately 3 Km away from Gampaha city known as the second capital of Sri Lanka ,where you can relax your rest your tired souls & bodies. This temple is filled with carefully planned & planted flora & fauna. It has many trees that yields flowers & many trees that yields fruits throughout the year. This place offers programs in Buddhist teachings, meditation advises & life advises too. On every poya day hundreds of people attend preachings of Lord Buddha's teachings preached by highly respected Buddhist monks in the island & meals + refreshments are offered free to those who attend.
